It feels like I\u2019ve truly been working in the right direction.<br><br>Curious about what I\u2019ve been up to?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was determined to bring a digital art museum \u2014 which had closed in 2020 due to the pandemic \u2014 to Ticino. Although the work wasn\u2019t centred on what I do best \u2014 art direction, UX design, and art \u2014 I still poured those skills into every step. I led the fundraising, project management, and curatorship, even when no one else, not even the founders, believed in it\u2026 but I did. And I make it happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also work as a UX architect consultant for a digital agency in Lugano on a major institutional project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, I\u2019m developing two artistic projects: one is an installation on violence against women, due to be exhibited in November; the other is an artistic research project on cyanobacteria, in collaboration with a biologist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m actively involved in two women\u2019s associations: in one, I led a STEAM event and ran one of the six workshops myself, called\u00a0<em>Generating Ideas<\/em>; in the other, I\u2019m currently organising an event on leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And while doing all of this, I have two kids, a husband, a house, and a cat \u2014 plus a garden with my beloved peonies and camellias. My orchids are blooming inside the house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m not a photographer, but I use photography in my art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m not an illustrator, but but I always sketch my installations \u2014 sometimes adding a touch of watercolour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m not a sculptor but but I\u2019ve used sculpture in several experimental and land art projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m not a writer, but writing is central to my creative process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m not a dancer or a performer, but movement and dance are part of my art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Labels never define us.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I came back to my Ikigai, what I am good at, what I love, what the world needs and what I can get paid for.
